AllPicnicTables.com is an offspring of CedarStore.com, on-line division of The Cedar Store, which was established in 1992, to bring hand-crafted outdoor furniture to the Pittsburgh area.
Picnics have always played an important part in our culture. Though many modifications have been made over the years, they are still meant to be fun social gatherings. Indeed, it is a form of fun that people take very seriously. We do, too.

Our name, AllPicnicTables.com, says it all. Like the picnic itself, this site evolved from one idea that took root and became wildly popular. Ironically, it was a concept that was far older than picnics, but had, unfortunately, become outmoded. It was the notion of creating wood furniture by hand.
It began with our parent company, and was based on the observation that people were tired of the second-rate quality of mass-produced wood furniture. As orders began pouring in from all around the country, it soon became clear that it had been a great idea. The number of requests for our picnic tables made it equally apparent that there was no universal agreement on what a picnic table should look like. Everyone wanted customized features on tables of different sizes, styles, and materials.

Ultimately, our customers guided us into this new endeavor, devoted specifically to creating the Great American Picnic Table. It’s the table that comes in cedar, pine, oak, cherry, teak, aluminum, polywood, steel, or vinyl. It’s the one with its benches built in, or detached. It’s square, round, rectangular, hexagonal, or octagonal. It’s elegant, contemporary, or rustic. It’s your picnic table, whichever you choose.
