We employ an outside shipping company to deliver your product by motor freight. Curbside Delivery means that drivers are not required to assist you in unloading the product from the truck or placing the pieces in a desired location. Therefore, we recommend that you have a few people to help you in unloading larger pieces from the vehicle. The shipment will arrive on a wooden pallet and will be wrapped in a heavy-duty vinyl binding to protect your purchase. The easiest way to unload your shipment from the truck is to cut the vinyl binding and remove each piece one at a time.

Because we work with an outside shipping company, we can not exercise any control over the shipping process. So, we advise that you immediately examine your shipment before signing the delivery receipt. Do not dispose of the box or packaging material until you have inspected your order and are satisfied with the product you have received. If you suspect that your shipment may have been damaged, you must notify our Customer Service Department within 3 business days. All of our cedar, pine, and cypress furniture can be shipped with two coats of our penetrating stain/sealer already applied. This service can be added in our shopping cart, and will cost 20% of the total price of your furniture. Having your furniture shipped with a stain/sealer already applied, or immediately applying it yourself, will provide maximum protection from the elements.

However, some prefer their wood furniture to weather to a rustic gray patina. If you are interested in this look, have your furniture shipped unstained. You can apply a stain/sealer yourself once the wood has weathered to the desired gray to preserve that color. A stain/sealer can be purchased at a local hardware store. We strongly recommend using a stain/sealer with a slight cedar tone instead of a clear sealer, as clear sealers have a tendency to wear off when exposed to the sun.
